Monday December 8: City Council Meeting

A regularly scheduled city council meeting is Monday December 8 at 7 p.m. in the Upland City Council Chambers.

Oath of office will be administered to Councilman Kenneth Willis and Mayor John Pomierski for their re-election, as well as Dan Morgan for his election to city treasurer.

Items on the agenda include:

• Appointments to city committees such as the City Council Advisory Committee, the Community Block Grant Committee and the Street Tree Advisory Committee.
• Scheduled vacancies for commissions
• CalPERS health benefits for city council members
• public works items

The Upland Fire Department will be leading the flag salute and Colin Allison from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be giving the invocation.

Recognition of the retirement of City Treasurer Walter F. Reardon will be given during the presentations segment.
