A flash flood watch is in effect tonight for the mountain areas below 6,000 feet as a Pacific storm moves into the area.

The flood warning is expected to last through Christmas Day.

Rain is in today's forecast, along with gusting winds up to 20 mph and temperatures that will not top 51 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers are likely continue through Christmas morning.
