San Antonio Heights and County Fire gathered for Sept. 11 memorial service

Sept. 11th Memorial Service in San Antonio Heights.jpgSan Antonio Heights and San Bernardino County Fire Department Station 12 held a September 11 memorial service Sept. 12.

Heights resident, Holly Wood gave the opening remarks.

Bishop Perry Engle for the Brethren-in-Christ Church in Upland and the Pacific Christian West Coast Conference gave the invocation.

Bill Schuessler of the fire department gave the flag presentation and led the pledge of allegiance.

Helen Catherine Wood, Miss Teen Community of Upland, sang the national anthem.

Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Don Kurth, Sgt. Dan Finneran of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department, Chief Dan Wurl of the San Bernardino County Fire Department and Second District County Supervisor Paul Biane all spoke during the ceremony.

Engle gave the benediction and everyone in attendence sang "God Bless America."
