EGGfest at Cable Airport
Ray Lampe, also known as "Dr. BBQ," will be grilling and giving grilling classes during Upland-based Outdoor Kitchen Creations' inaugural barbeque event.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cable Airport, 1749 W. 13th Street in Upland.
Outdoor Kitchen Creations, 1306 Monte Vista Avenue Suite 4, designs and installs outdoor kitchen area.
The event is called "EGGfest" and will allow home grillers to demonstrate their skills by cooking their favorite recipes for the attendees to try. The cooks will be judged by the public.
The event will be centered around a product called "The Big Green Egg," which is a cooking device.
Lampe, a spokeschef for the product, has written four cookbooks including the "NFL Gameday Cookbook."
Other local businesses will be at the event such as Dale Bros. Brewery, The Pacific Wine Merchants, Keep You Well, The Corner Butcher Shop, Cable Airport and The Forks Chop House.
