Meet the expert: fight like a girl

Lori Hartman Gervasi, a black belt in Karate, will be teaching women how to fight from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Carnegie Cultural Center, 123 D. Street in Upland.

Gervasi encourages women to prepare themselves mentally and physically for personal survival.

She will be selling and signing copies of her book "Fight Like A Girl...And Win!"
