Two new members appointed to San Antonio Hospital Foundation Board of Directors

San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation on Monday announced the appointment of two new board members to its Board of Directors.

Wes Fifield, member of the Upland Unified School District Board of Trustees, and Dr. Alan Bock, a physician in the Emergency Department at San Antonio Community Hospital, were chosen to sit on the board.

Fifield is president of Panorama Development Company, which builds shopping centers and specializes in finding anchor stores to develop the center around. He is also part of the Executive Committee of the Upland YMCA. His wife Stacey is a licensed vocational nurse.

Bock is a member of the Mountain View Emergency Physicians Medical Group. As an physician in the hospital's emergency room, he is a strong advocate for the hospital's new emergency department and bed tower expansion project. Bock will serve as spokesman for the Emergency Department expansion portion of the new tower project.

The San Antonio Hospital Foundation was established in 1972 as the fundraising arm of San Antonio Community Hospital. The Foundation's mission is to ensure that all members of the community continue to have access to local, state-of-the-art medical care.
