Upland girl scout troop donates Christmas gifts

Girl Scout Troop 12024 presented more than $200 worth of Christmas
gifts to the David & Margaret Home in La Verne in December.
The
troop members shopped for the gifts with money earned through cookie
and nut sales. Accepting the presents was Meghan Anderson, grant
coordinator for David & Margaret Youth & Family Services.
Anderson provided a tour of the facility that serves girls ages 11 to
18.
The
troop members are Alexis Solario, Allyn Huntsinger, Annika Glynn,
Bailey Sherman, Cali Harrison, Caroline Brandt, Ellie Chandler, Emma
Harvey, Kaylee Teague and Rylie Wilhoit. The troop, led by Sally
Chandler and Carla Sanders Harrison.
The troop is based at Valencia Elementary School in Upland.
