Upland Unified School District employee honored by Union
Ross Moen, a maintenance worker for the Upland Unified School District, was announced the 2010 Member of the Year by the California School Employees' Association Upland Chapter 163.
The announcement was during the chapter's annual fiesta on May 18 at Don Jose Restaurant.
Moen has worked in the district for five years.
The chapter also announced recipients of their annual scholarships, totaling $3,000.
The scholarships went to:

Melanie Connor- Upland High School
Taylor Norris- Upland High School
Madison McCowan- Victor Valley High School
Kelsey Nylund-Alta Loma High School
Michelle Ortiz- Chino Hills High School
Rebecca Benefiedd- Chino High School
Kirsten Easton- Occidental College
Nadeline Tinoco- Cal Poly Pomoma
