Car wash for Leukemia Saturday at Albertsons

The Jefferis Family and the Upland High School Girls Water Polo team is having a car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Albertsons, 1028 N. Mountain Ave.

Proceeds from the car wash will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

Kelsey Jefferis, will be honored during the Orange County "Light The Night Walk" at Angels' Stadium on Sept. 19.

She was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2008 and received a bone marrow transplant in May of 2009. She is in remission.

The cost for a car wash is $5.
