Previous Community Involvement: Chairman of the Upland Housing Authority, Vice-chairman of the Upland Parks and Recreation Committee, Board member for the West End Boys and Girls Club.

WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR THIS OFFICE?: During the past 29 years, it has been an honor to represent the Upland community. Also, to be a part of a team that has highly respected teachers and staff. The outstanding partnership between parents,

teachers and students has resulted in receiving 11 California Distinguished School Awards and 7 Title 1 Academic Achieving Award Schools. I will continue working to ensure your children attend schools that are not only safe and well maintained but have the most effective learning environment. Approval of Measure K bonds is currently being used to transform schoolrooms into state of the art "21^st century classrooms."
