Mystery novel author to speak at library
Sue McGinty, author of the Bella Kowalski Mysteries series, will be sharing her secrets to writing a mystery novel during a free presentation from 2 to 3 p.m. April 16 in the Upland Public Library multipurpose room, 450 N. Euclid Ave.
McGinty's award winning short fiction has been featured in three Central Coast Mystery Writer anthologies and she has served as president and treasurer of the local chapter of Sisters in Crime.
She also heads up the Lillian Dean Writing Competition held in conjunction with the annual Central Coast Writer's Conference.
Her latest book is "Murder at Cuyamaca Beach."
Her books will be available for sale and signing.
