Free mulch workshop

A free workshop on the uses of mulch will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at the Magnolia Recreation Center, 651 W. 15^th St. in Upland.

The workshop will address the basics of composting and the proper ways to use and apply mulch.

Door prizes will be given away.
