No more nerves

Freshman quarterback Mark Sanchez admitted before spring practice he would feel some nervousness but after an abundance of reps following John David Booty’s back injury during the first week of spring drills, Sanchez feels like a seasoned pro.

“I’m past the threshold of being nervous and being a young player,” Sanchez said.
Asked if his arm got sore in practices, Sanchez said, “rubber-arm baby. I don’t even flinch any more when they call the second team out because a lot of times I’m taking their reps too.”
By the way, the Trojans added walk-on quarterback Kevin Livermore from San Bernardino Valley College, so the scout team doesn’t feel lonely.
