USC coach Pete Carroll’s scrimmage thoughts:
“Obviously, the defense had a big advantage tonight. However the young running backs got out. It was a little sloppy in the passing game. I was also pleased to see the running backs making guys miss.”
Carroll on the possibility of Allen Bradford permanently moving to tailback, even after Chauncey Washington returns from his hamstring injury.
“Well just see. Im hoping Chauncey is that effective as well. If he isnt, we still have a chance for great success (with a big back).”
Bradford said he believed he would probably stay on offense all season.
