Something To Ponder

In USC’s 23-17 victory over Cal at the Coliseum two years ago, defensive tackle Manuel Wright made a key sack with the Golden Bears at the 9-yard line with 1:47 remaining. Cornerback Eric Wright recovered a fumble and made five tackles.
Both Wrights would be starting for USC today if Manuel didn’t turn pro early and Eric didn’t run into legal problems that eventually caused him to transfer to UNLV before the university suspended him for three years.
