It might seem like basketball usually gets overshadowed by stories like Gabe Pruitt being ineligible or how it might affect USC’s APR next year, but sometimes there are feel-good moments. Guard Lodrick Stewart presented Coach Tim Floyd with a certificate thanking him for “the best two years of basketball in his life.”
Stewart said he gave Floyd the certificate after the season to show how much he appreciated what Floyd did for his career, which stalled the first two years and really didn’t kick into gear until his senior season.
