Freshman offensive lineman Butch Lewis weighs just 265 pounds after catching a virus in Mexico that caused him to lose more than 30 pounds. Lewis said he’s slowly gaining weight but it’s been difficult.
Doctors told him the virus is no longer in his system but he’s got about five weeks to gain some weight back before training camp starts. He doesn’t need to gain all the weight back but would like to be about 10-15 pounds bigger.
