USC football players Vincent Joseph and Alfred Rowe were academically disqualified following the completion of the fall semester and are no longer enrolled in school, according to sources.
Joseph, a cornerback, and Rowe, a fullback, are sophomores and were also teammates at Long Beach Poly. They were eligible for the Rose Bowl because grades were not officially posted at that time.
Sources said there remains a chance Rowe could improve his academic situation and be readmitted to school. Rowe said before the Rose Bowl he did not think hewould have any academic issues. Last year, kicker Troy Van Blarcom was academically disqualified.
