Guard O.J. Mayo on Daniel Hackett’s possibly broken rib or chipped bone in his hip.
“You really can’t make up for Daniel,” Mayo said. “One, his experience and two, his poise. Three, just having another player we don’t mind having the ball down the stretch. He’s a heady player and we’d miss him but sometimes that will happen.
“We don’t want to blame this loss on injury here injury there. We definitely had an opportunity to win the ballgame.”
