Robbie Boyer
He was named to the 2007 Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team, Super Prep All-Farwest, All-CIF Pac-5 first team, Orange County Register All-Orange County first team and All-Trinity League first team as a senior wide receiver at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana (Calif.)…He had 57 catches for 1,033 yards (18.1 avg.) and 14 touchdowns in 2007…As a junior in 2006, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass and All-Trinity League as he had 39 receptions for 620 yards (15.9 avg.) with 3 TDs…He also sprinted on Mater Dei’s track team

Ross Cumming
He spent 2006 and 2007 at the Naval Academy Prep School, but did not play football because of an injury…He had 45 tackles on defense and 9 receptions for 146 yards (16.2 avg.) with 4 TDs (including a 65-yarder) on offense in 2005 as a senior tight end and linebacker at Santa Margarita High in Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.)…As a junior in 2004, he made All-Serra League while getting 60 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries and 3 deflections

Chris Fornataro
He made the 2007 All-Region second team, All-Metro second team and All-Colonial District first team as a senior running back at Mills Godwin High in Richmond (Va.)…He rushed for 1,400 yards and 17 TDs in 2007…He was named to the All-Colonial District second team as a sophomore in 2005

Steve Gatena
He started all of 2007 at left offensive tackle as a sophomore at UC Davis…He was a backup at tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2006 at UC Davis, appearing in 4 games, after being sidelined with an injury as a 2005 redshirt freshman (he was able to get the year back as a medical hardship)…He attended Air Force in 2004, but did not play football due to an injury…He made 2003 Super Prep All-Farwest, All-CIF Division IV first team, Los Angeles Times All-Ventura/North Coast first team, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area second team and All-Marmonte League as a senior offensive lineman at Westlake High in Westlake Village (Calif.)…Westlake went 14-0 in 2003 and won the state Division II title…He also was on Westlake’s basketball and track teams

Abe Markowitz
He made 2007 Super Prep All-Farwest, Honolulu Star-Bulletin All-State honorable mention and Honolulu Advertiser All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honorable mention as a senior offensive and defensive lineman at Punahou School in Honolulu (Hi.)…He also was on Punahou’s track team, winning the 2008 ILH shot put and discus championships while placing second in both events at the 2008 state meet… He also was a vocal soloist and Samoan dancer at Punahou…He was given the honored chiefly title of Seumanu by his Samoan family…His grandfather, Larry, played freshman and junior varsity football at USC in the early 1950s, his father, Barry, lettered as a linebacker at UCLA in 1974 and his cousins include former Hawaii and San Francisco 49er offensive lineman Jesse Sapolu and Colorado freshman offensive lineman Max Tuioti-Mariner

Chris McCaffery
He was a reserve pitcher on USC’s baseball team as a freshman in 2008, posting a 2-0 record with 7 strikeouts and a 10.38 ERA in 8.2 innings and 8 appearances…He was named 2006 All-Metro honorable mention and West Catholic Athletic League MVP as a senior quarterback at St. Ignatius High in San Francisco (Calif.)…St. Ignatius won the 2006 CIF Central Coast Section title…He also played baseball at St. Ignatius, winning All-WCAL honors for 3 years…He missed his 2007 senior season with an arm injury…As a junior in 2006, he had a 1.40 ERA and hit .420 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI

Ryan McMahon
He made the 2007 Los Angeles Times All-San Gabriel Valley first team and San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area first team as a senior safety at Damien High in La Verne (Calif.)…He had 77 tackles, 2 interceptions (1 for a TD) and a fumble recovery in 2007…As a junior in 2006, he had 62 tackles, 3 sacks and 3 blocked punts…He also competed on Damien’s track team.
