Wide receiver David Ausberry been virtually invisible recently but could get a larger role after being a non-factor so far.
“We need him, I anticipate we’ll get more than 51 snaps in this game,” offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian said.

Clean Shaven
USC lost more than a game. Patrick Turner and Joe McKnight lost their beards. So in some respects, the loss was worth it.
Sanchez Bruised
Quarterback Mark Sanchez is nursing a sore ankle and but said he is OK.
“I’m starting to know how Matt (Leinart) and John David (Booty) felt,” Sanchez said.

Pete Carroll called out freshman linebacker Chris Galippo during today’s team meeting because he will start if Maualuga is unable to play.
Maualuga Update
Linebacker Rey Maualuga just saw the doctors and he remains uncertain for the Oregon game.
“I’ll try my best and if I don’t make it, I’ll support the team,” Maualuga said.
