USC is ahead 27-10 but why did much of the first half feel like a nothing burger?
The 64-yard touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez to Ronald Johnson was nice but so far the Trojans look a lot closer to every other team in the country instead of demonstrating the loss to Oregon State was an aberration. And this is playing against the Ducks’ third-string quarterback.
The late rally at the end of the half made a difference but it masked some very average play for much of the half.
