Defensive lineman Trey Henderson’s football career is over following two knee operations.
“After the second operation, the doctors said it doesn’t look too good for football,” Henderson said. “If I kept playing football, it would make it worse.”
His first operation was for a torn meniscus and the second one was to clean up some problems in the joint.
Henderson will remain at USC and compete as a hammer thrower on the track team.
“I’m excited,” Henderson said.
