Washington State beat Arizona State this afternoon to temporarily move into sixth place ahead of USC prior to tonight’s game at Stanford. The Cougars are 8-9 while the Trojans are 7-8. If USC wins, the Trojans could be tied for fifth. If they lose, they could be in danger of falling into eighth place.
