For spring practices and USC’s Pro day, can non-USC students come and watch? Interested in both, can you supply information. Also, when is Pro Day and can you list the times. Thank you.
A: Spring practices are open to the public. But that usually means you need to call in advance. So call the football office to be sure. (213) 740-4204. Pro Day is April 1 and closed to the public. However, you can always watch though the fence at Cromwell Field. It usually goes from the morning until around 3 p.m.

Where does the H back line up, and why is he called an H back?
A: The H-back can line up at fullback, on the line or be in motion. One of the famous USC H-backs was Vic Rakshani, who usually went in motion. The key is the H-back is usually more of a receiver than a blocker. I’m not sure why he’s called the H-back.
