Taj Gibson is part of a group of prospects working out tomorrow in Oakland for the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns. Daniel Hackett will be part of a second group working out for the same three teams on Tuesday.

UC Irvine falls to Virginia 5-0 on Saturday night. But the game of the day (year) is Texas-Boston College, where the Longhorns defeat the Eagles 3-2 in 25 innings.
Remember Texas baseball coach Augie Garrido got kicked out of a USC scrimmage at the Coliseum last August amid fears of aiding the Longhorns in case the teams played in a bowl game.
Track Triumph
USC’s men’s track team continued its hot streak by winning the West Regional title today with a comfortable 16.25-point victory over host Oregon. This is another example of getting it done despite having only 12 scholarships.
