I was recently in London on business and while talking to some of the Brits in our London office, the topic of the LA Galaxy came up. This eventually led to a discussion about Posh Spice who they said is not posh in any way whatsoever but is actually “quite common.” They also told me the way she speaks is “very common” and they laughed at the thought anyone would suggest she is posh.

What do you know about this?

A: I’m not an expert on accents but her nickname, “Posh Spice” came from the UK because of her family’s wealth. She was taken to school in a Rolls Royce. Now that does not make a person articulate or well-spoken. But she’s never lacked for money.

What will be the role of safeties Drew McAllister and Shane Horton this season in a crowded secondary with senior safeties Will Harris and Taylor Mays along with Josh Pinkard and three incoming safety recruits?

A: They will most likely be on special teams and play in games if someone gets hurt or their are blowouts. I think McAllister is a future star so I really think he needs to get some quality snaps this season so he can make a seamless transition next spring when he is a starter at safety.

Will any players transfer from the football team and will there be any players transferring to joining the team?

A: Right now, everyone says they are not transferring. Transfers tend to happen during training camp now instead of during the summer. But players like Allen Bradford and Brandon Carswell continue to say they will not transfer.
