Floyd has remained silent in response to Louis Johnson’s latest allegations, presumably on the advice of USC’s counsel. Do you have any insight as to whether Floyd wants to talk about (and hopefully refute) these allegations, if allowed to do so? Or, is he glad he does not have to respond at this point?

Also, did Floyd in the past ever provide any explanation as to why Guillory was allowed access to the program, despite his prior involvement with Trepainger? (I apologize for the multiple, yet related, questions.)

Any insights would be great. Thanks for the forum, Scott.

A: I don’t think he’s ever been real eager to discuss it, even if he had the chance because there could be some sticky questions involving Guillory.
However, I think he would gladly deny the latest allegation because it is the most outlandish of all the charges. I don’t really think that allegation deserves the weight it’s received but that’s just me.
Floyd’s never addressed the Guillory issue as far as I know, which I find disappointing, because there needs to be some comment about why Guillory was around. I know I saw him around all the time.

Do you think SC can get Girls Aloud to perform in the Galen Center since there won’t be any basketball next year?

A: Maybe it can be a doubleheader to give USC basketball a sellout.
