Here’s safety Will Harris on the loss of Shareece Wright.
“We haven’t changed anything scheme wise. It’s too bad for Shareece but it’s not like we’ve lost a step. Our main focus is playing together and getting turnovers. We feel comfortable.”

What About A Bowl Game?
Cornerback Shareece Wright could conceivably play in a bowl game if he gets the necessary grades in the fall semester. Wright already redshirted so it wouldn’t affect his eligibility if he played in a bowl game.
Wright Ineligible
Cornerback Shareece Wright will be academically ineligible for the season. This could actually help USC if it forces Wright to return for the 2010 season. He would be allowed to turn pro early although he’ll miss two years now through injury and ineligibility.
Kickoff And Punt Returns
C.J. Gable and Curtis McNeal handle kick returns while Damian Williams will return punts, with Joe McKnight also in the mix.
O’Malley Punts
Walk-on punter Billy O’Malley was named the starter today over JC transfer Jake Harfman.
