There were some absurd stats released today by USC regarding the quarterbacks and I was going to express my erudite thoughts on the subject, but someone else pretty much summed it all up here.

GA/SG Forum
I’m still finishing up the last one, but let’s get an early start on a new one. One question per person please.
Outlier
Pete Carroll likes to refer to Matt Barkley as an “outlier,” to describe how special he is.The literal definition is, “a value far from most others in a set of data.”
Does this mean an outlier is allowed to throw more interceptions than “most others in a set of data.”
Quite A Pick
The one and only Beano Cook joins Lou Holtz in picking Notre Dame to face Florida in the BCS title game.
Song Of The Day

What About The Veterans?
I did a radio interview with a Columbus station this morning and was asked if the veteran players resented Aaron Corp being passed over for Matt Barkley?
It is true that several players I spoke to were very surprised by the decision and thought Corp would start. But at the same time, Barkley is a popular teammate and does have an engaging personality so he will not have problems being a leader.
The real issue will rest with performance. If he performs, no one will mind. If not, then there will be some grumbling on the locker room over the decision.
Recruit Off Radar
USC is no longer recruiting this prospect who committed to the Trojans as a 13-year-old.
