USC players talk about the controversial last TD against UCLA and Pete Carroll gives his day after opinion about it.
On today’s rematch between Matt Leinart and Vince Young, Pete Carroll said: “That was perfectly staged and Vince came through. What a great finish. He’s an extraordinary athlete and showed it again. Matt played well too.”

“I’m sure people on the other side will find a reason to be upset or whatever . . . Part of things as fans is people get to cheer for you and boo at you. They’re entitled to their opinion and can do whatever they want.”

USC moved up two spots to 18th in this week’s BCS standings.
