It feels a little odd not preparing for a Rose Bowl with USC, which leads to a natural question? Will USC be in next year’s Rose Bowl? The BCS title game? Or a worse bowl? Hmmm.
I’d be hardpressed to go for the BCS title game barring some changes in the playcalling and big improvements in a couple spots. But maybe recruiting can solve some of those issues. So that would leave playcalling.
