As Cal is losing to Washington, USC appears to be looking at the Emerald Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl. The Emerald Bowl is expected to pass on Oregon State, which would leave it with a choice between USC and Cal. If Cal beats Washington, USC goes to the Poinsettia.
There is a chance USC could go to the Las Vegas Bowl, if it passed on Oregon State, which is not expected to happen.
The Holiday Bowl said it would take Arizona.
The probable opponents are Boston College (Emerald), BYU (Vegas) and Utah (Poinsettia).
