Point guard Mike Gerrity said USC’s announcement on basketball sanctions was even more difficult to take because of the Trojans’ eight-game winning streak and weekend sweep of the Arizona schools.
“To hear the news at this time is very different because the post-season was likely,” Gerrity said.
