I was just wondering if you were going to answer the questions from the last forum if they were still relevant, but my query for this forum is
As of the time you answer this, how many silent commits do we have, and about where do you think we will end up in the rankings?
Thanx for having the forums, Scott.

A: I didn’t answer those forum questions because I felt the coaching change sort of made it irrelevant. If someone has a question from that forum they want answered, please submit it in the next forum.
I still hear there are 2 silent commits. I anticipate USC will be somewhere between 5-10 in the final rankings.

What are the odds Lane Kiffin’s brother in law becomes the puppet OC while Lane calls plays?

A: Well, that’s a good question. I’ve heard it’s a possibility but whoever gets hired will probably be a puppet.

HI SCOTT
I remember a while back that you said that one 8 or 9 win season wouldn’t hurt us in recruiting, but that 2 in a row would. Since I heard you on the podcast predict about only 9 wins for us next year, whaddya think, are we in trouble, or does the coaching change mitigate that for us? Thanx a lot.

A: I think it could hurt if USC has two straight three-or-four-loss seasons. Not that it is a bad thing by normal standards but by USC standards. Kiffin and Ed Orgeron are known as strong recruiters, so maybe they can overcome it. But there needs to be some areas addressed in recruiting (the front seven defensively) or things are going to drop on the field.
