  1. I’m sure he’s 250 since he was trying to get bigger to play DE. 250 seems a little small for DE. He might be like Kennard where Devon has lost weight now that he’s not trying to get bigger to play the line.

  2. From Scott’s article:

“Former USC tailback Reggie Bush will give a deposition next week in a civil suit filed by a would-be sports marketer against the Heisman Trophy winner. Lloyd Lake is suing Bush for nearly $300,000 that he said he gave Bush in cash and benefits. Bush is scheduled to be deposed April 23.”

“His testimony might delay the NCAA’s final report and decision on the Bush investigation, which is expected later this month.”

Reggie, it is time to settle with Lake. You don’t want your deposition taken. You don’t want Michaels’ deposition taken. If you lie in the deposition, you are possibly subject to perjury charges. Lake kept receipts, taped conversations, etc. Even felons like Lake tell the truth every now and then. Reggie, money is obviously not your concern; perhaps your pride is. Remember, Reggie, “pride goeth before the fall.” Reggie, do the right thing and settle before Lake’s counsel takes your deposition or Michaels’ deposition. Do the right thing Reggie.

  3. I’m sure he’ll eventually end up in the 230ish range. Boyd was a 4 star recruit who passed for over 4,200 yards so there is some potential.

  4. Here’s the key to the whole jersey issue. Lane should have brought the players in and explained his reasons. These kids are so spoonfed these days that anything will tick them off. They don’t understand what competition is, and expect to be on top on their good looks. Coaches expect the most from their players, however they need to talk to them like responsible adults (even though most are unreasonable) and make them aware that these jerseys or what have you need to be earned not given.

  5. Good for Kiffin. Last year was a prime example of what happens when you let these kids behave like primadonnas and develop an entitelment atitude toward everything they want. Welcome to the real world, Bryant…you gotta earn it.

  6. Hey Scott, Don’t forget Sandy Koufax and Fernando Valenzuela also wore #1 ho ho ho……

  7. Oh Scott. Oh oh oh. That’s almost as bad as saying that OJ wore #11. They retired Key’s number, ferchrissakes. Well, after Carson borrowed it, but Key’s been known to point out that his college number is retired.

  8. This is really frightening. The HC at USC is worried about who wears what number?
