Punt Returners
Wide receiver Ronald Johnson, tailback Dillon Baxter, wide receiver Travon Patterson, cornerback Shareece Wright and tailback Curtis McNeal are competing to be the punt returner.
On Depth Chart
Lane Kiffin will release a depth chart Friday but said it would be in “pencil,” meaning some positions will remain open until the fall.
Johnson Surgery Up In Air
Wide receiver Ronald Johnson may not have surgery on his wrist now. He will meet with a doctor Friday to decide. Johnson says his wrist feels better but he will still sit out the rest of spring. He did some individual work today and caught some punts.
Campbell In Trouble
Lane Kiffin said he met with linebacker Jordan Campbell because “something came up,” and he would review Campbell’s future in the program. Campell was suspended in the winter for too many negative points, which occur from missing classes and/or tutoring sessions.
Kiffin said Campbell was not arrested. “It’s something we heard something of,” Kiffin said.

The Trojans drop a close one in a Tuesday non-conference encounter. The Gauchos are 4-1 against USC in the past five meetings.
