In this segment, which USC coach ran a looser ship? Pete Carroll or John Robinson.

John Robinson was often criticized for what many people believed to be running a “loose ship” during his second tenure as USC coach. Pete Carroll was also heavily criticized for having a very casual atmosphere for the football program with many players getting in trouble with the law. So the question is, based on observing both coaches, who ran the looser ship?
A: Carroll ran a loose ship but practices were extremely physical and the pace was faster than other programs so people worked hard. In 1996, there was a feeling the team was out of shape and Robinson did not run hard enough practices or seem engaged enough. He came back in 1997, but the criticisms persisted.

Any chance of moving a tight end to tackle in order to shore up the OL? It worked well with Charles Brown, who was a tight end when he first arrived at SC. Or, is it to late to move Derek Simmons to OG?
A: I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the incoming tight ends gets moved. Either Christian Thomas to defensive end or if he keeps growing Xavier Grimble might become an offensive tackle.
Cheatey Petey or Timmey Floyd…who ran the looser ship there? THAT is a good question!!
Cheatey Petey, for sure.
