  1. Can you please provide an update on Ronald Johnson’s surgery (status, recovery, etc.)?

    Thanks

  2. Mr. Wolf, I have a non-USC question, what are your thoughts about the upcoming World Cup in Africa and what teams do you see making a strong run in the WC? Thank you in advance.

  3. Ed Orgeron versus Henry Bibby in a fight on the Venice boardwalk. Who wins?

  4. Is the following comment offensive?

“To all you fat, lazy, Figueroa Tech flunkies I say this: go chase CALI Girl and the heffers up north.” (Courtesy of Bruin NC, in your post titled “Water Polo Champions.”)

  5. I heard a rumor that Ohio State stole Oregon’s offensive signals which enabled OSU to win the last Rose Bowl. Have you heard of such rumors and can you elaborate?

  6. Can you give us your ‘industry insiders’ stance on what I/others consider a blatant attack “agenda” against USC by Yahoo Sports. Why do you think that they have gone above and beyond in efforts to “hang” the USC program specifically? What is in it for them to so vigorously (seemingly hopefully also) pull back their ears in all of this. Why the obvious vendetta?
    Thanks and Fight On!

  7. My antivirus software says there’s Trojan.Fake’s on this site. Is that a software problem, or a content problem? Thanks.

  8. With the Big 10 very close to expansion in a big way with something like 16 teams, How do you see the Pac 10 responding? I always thought that Colorado and Texas were very unlikely, but now it looks like the Big 12 is in trouble. Or why not add 6 and match the Big 10 expansion plans?

  9. In the past FOUR seasons..Have you witnessed any teamate rivalry or problems amongst teamates on or off the field? Of course everyone at SC is always fighting for a spot but Has there been any true turmoil like bush vs white or any fights?

  10. What do you think the odds are that Oregon will reinstate Masoli mid-season and if if they do, do you think the Pac 10 will step in to enforce a harsher penalty?

  11. How would you characterize Lane Kiffin’s relationship with Todd McNair when they were both assistant coaches at USC?

  12. How do you rate Lindsay Soto as a reporter for covering USC football as compared to Erin Andrews and Melissa Stark? Who is the best reporter based on your experience?

  13. Scott, thanks for taking my question.
It appears the SC administration has a lot ($$$) of faith in Coach Kiffin, in uping his reported Tennessee salary some 2 mil to an unbelievable 4 mil? Do you know of any other coach who had Kiffin’s record and got that kind of money? Was SC so much in a panic to get him? You could talk to most if not all the successful Division 1 coaches and get their attention with that kind of compensation. This kind of money puts a seriousness to the matter of “you better win now this year”. One last question, if MG hired Kiffin, and the coach does not pan out, MG will be sent out the door with him?

  14. Among Butler, Patterson, and Flournoy, which receiver has had the most and least drops in his playing career and during practice, and do you (or any of the readers) know of any WWW source that keeps a record of drops in games?

  15. Will Chad Kreuter resign or will Mike Garrett have to fire him? Who are the best prospects to be the next baseball coach?

  16. Scott,

Can you find a downloadable high quality version of the 2010 football poster and post it to the blog?

    Thank you

  17. HI WOLFIE
Suppose a school could find a 6 foot, 5 inch or taller guy who weighed 450lbs plus. Would the doctors let the kid play football, say at SC,and, if so, do you think the kid would be an asset by playing middle guard and plugging up the middle? Thanx in advance as always.
PS I’m thinking of Les Bingaman, who was all -pro a couple years for the Detroit Lions in the early 50s. He had a short career, died early, and if you google him, it says his weight was 278 lbs., but I can remember the announcers guessing him at 425-475 lbs. He had a good first step to either side, so occupied space, and if he was double or triple teamed, the blockers would just hit him and fall back. Maybe he was just one of a kind, as theres never been another. like him ever since.
