WR Brice Butler So. Precarious hold on starting spot fending off top frosh Prater. Kyle Prater, Fr.
TE Jordan Cameron Sr. All the other tight ends were hurt during spring drills. Blake Ayles, Jr.
LT Matt Kalil So. Needs to hold off nation’s No. 1 high school player. Seantrel Henderson, Fr.

DEFENSE
DE Armond Armstead* Jr. Opponents will not like blocking a 300-pound end. Malik Jackson, Jr.
DT Jurrell Casey* Jr. Key reason the defensive line is Trojans’ best unit. Hebron Fangupo, Jr.
DT DaJohn Harris Jr. Surprise of spring must replace injured Christian Tupou. Derek Simmons, Sr.
DE Nick Perry So. Will likely rotate with Horton, who starts in nickel formation. Wes Horton, So.
LB Malcolm Smith* Sr. Up-and-down junior season but made 15 tackles against UCLA. Shane Horton, Jr.
LB Chris Galippo* Jr. No one would be surprised if Kennard starts or shares spot. Devon Kennard, So.
LB Michael Morgan* Sr. A little light (225 pounds) so durability is an issue. Marquis Simmons, Fr.
CB Shareece Wright Sr. One of nation’s best returns after being ineligible. Brian Baucham, So.
CB Torin Harris Fr. A major question mark for the defense next season. T.J. Bryant, Jr.

  1. Woods will play a lot a WR. Could be major difference maker along with Baxter.

  2. If Dillon Baxter sniffs this starting lineup our Trojans go 5-8. We have the three best RB’s in the conference and none of them are Baxter. He should definitely touch the ball, but we already got rid of McKnight and we don’t need another one.
