More On Transfers

The NCAA informed me right now that junior and senior players are free to transfer without sitting out a year because of the two-year bowl ban. However, USC is appealing the football sanctions, so we’ll see if that means athletes would not be able to transfer without sitting out until the case is resolved.

  1. Oh, well, at least they cannot take away the 2003 National Championship, which was SC’s first in 25-years,and which is still a bigger deal to me than the 2004 title against Oklahoma…SC has a lot of haters, especially in Westwood, but it comes with the territory; common people love to see the rich and famous take a fall…SC will return, probably bigger and better than ever. Actually, the Trojans aren’t going anywhere, and are co-favorites to win the Pac-10…there is so much crookedness in college sports that it is hypocritical to pick out particular colleges, or as Westwood’s Wooden once said about his possible NCAA violations: “There’s as much crookedness as you want to find…Maybe I trusted too much.”

  2. I don’t think the AP will vacate the title. USC will not lose a National Championship. BUT SHAME ON TODD MCNAIR!!!

Lawyer John, not just in Westwood, they have many on LA Daily News and the OC Register’s staff! Pay no attention to Plaschke…he’s senile.
