When will you rename this blog Inside USC for bruins?
A: We already tried but the software rejected the name because it could not digest winning six Pac-10 games in the past two years.

Please rate the following players in terms of percentage likelihood of leaving the program for another school:
1) Tyron Smith
2) Mark Tyler
3) Travon Patterson
4) Brandon Carswell
5) David Ausberry
6) CJ Gable
7) Someone else
Thanks for your input Scott.
A: This is a pretty fluid situation. I’d say Patterson, Carswell and Gable are worth keeping a close eye on. Smith really gains nothing by leaving. He is probably going to turn pro anyways after the season. Tyler’s been hurt while Ausberry can benefit by staying if some of the other receivers leave.

Scott, of the freshmen now on campus is impressing so far, and who is not. And who is a potential sleeper that we’re not hearing a lot about but might contribute in the Fall? Thanks!
A: I’d say Robert Woods is impressing, which I expected. In 7-on-7, you really don’t get a great handle on how someone plays in the fall. I remember Joe McKnight being the most impressive pass-catcher in his first summer and it did not translate to actual games at that level. Among sleepers, Hayes Pullard could be worth keeping an eye on, especially with the lack of depth at linebacker. I suspect he will play this season now.
