It’s been reported that Tennessee may face an NCAA Investigation concerning the bar brawl that Vols players were involved in recently.

Any truth to the rumor UCLA may face a similar investigation over preferential treatment at all the local donut houses? Let’s face it: Those gutty bRUINS have to be getting free pastry to fill those massive pie-holes. How else can you explain how fat those UCLA dysfunctional linemen are? Also, is it true they bring in an industrial scale when fall practice starts in Westweird?

A: Next question.

Do you think any more players will be transferring from the team? Also, are any players from other teams interested in transferring to USC?

A: I think at least one or two more might transfer. They are just trying to figure out the best situation for them and whether it’s worth leaving. So far, I haven’t heard of any possible transfers this summer.

Seeing as we can’t be ranked by the usa today poll, whats the highest bcs ranking you think we’ll be able to get to?

A: That’s a good question. The human polls are 67 percent of the formula so that’s half of the 67 percent missing. I think I need Jerry Palm to answer that.

  1. When I succeed in peeling back the skin of this universe so that Cthulhu may step forth into our world from the formless darkness beyond, the coaches’ poll shall cease to matter.

No polls, numbers, or mathematics shall have meaning when Cthulhu strides the quiet desert where UCLA once stood. The sands beneath his feet shall be the frozen tears of Bruins fans.

  2. Since SC will not get any consideration from one of the human polls, the BCS poll will give the Trojans as much attention as it would the French soccer team.

  3. BCS = 1/3 computer polls (USC could end up with something like 1.000 if consensus #1…)

    Coaches poll = 1/3 (USC = 0)

Harris Poll = 1/3 (USC could end up with something like .995 if consensus #1)

    so…0 + .995 + 1.000/3 = .665 which has been somewhere around #8 or #9 last year, #9 in 2008, #9 in 2007, etc…

So…the answer is that the highest USC could finish is #9…based on historical evidence…reality suggests that Harris Poll will also ignore USC.
