Kiffin In NCAA Trouble?

Tennessee said today it is possible it will get a letter of inquiry from the NCAA regarding allegations that occurred under Lane Kiffin.
“We’ve not had one yet, and as I acknowledged earlier, we’ve publicly acknowledged that the NCAA has been looking into some potential allegations during Coach (Lane) Kiffin’s time here,” Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton said. “Obviously at this point there hasn’t been a conclusion to that. We’ll see, but I think that is a possibility.”

  1. OMG I’m not even done laughing at USC on thing, and BAAAM here I am cracking up again at another headline LMAO USC = laughter!! LMAO

  2. Nothing but cheaters in the SEC…so glad nothing like that could ever happen in the Pac 10…………….er never mind.

  3. Actually, it’s Tennessee assistant coaches that are being investigated:

“Since then, sources said investigators have looked into whether *assistants* under former coach Lane Kiffin had improper contacts with high school players at an all-star game and whether coaches improperly interacted on players’ Facebook pages.”

Looks like Tennessee, not Lane, would be in trouble as a result.

  4. Hope Dean Wormer doesn’t have Lane on Double Secret Probation already.

  5. oh boy, it’s starting already….Southern Cal has replaced John Dillinger with Baby Face Nelson and expects the rules to be followed??

wolf you are on fire with the sweeeeeeeeeet scooops!!!

  6. bruins piling on now while they can. It is the desperate season for the gutty little ones as they know that soon the games will begin and it will be time to crawl into their little hole of irrelevancy.

Go you champions of the offseason!

  7. sobayquail, you are incorrect. Jim Davis is the owner of the Raiders. Al Davis was a famous jazz man. I believe he played the trumpet.

  8. ahh, the old hookers to high schools trick. Now we finally know how Lame was able to hold SC’s recruiting class together last winter. Sanction ON!

  9. Like I’ve been saying all along u.s.c. IS the “LAUGH FACTORY” of college football, and I dare any one of you to prove me wrong. LMAO

  10. The trash talking by Bruin fans aside, do you USC fans have any grasp of the fact that since USC was cited as a repeat offender, you are one Lane Kiffin mistake away from the death penalty???? And you will remain such for at least the four years of probation (the four years is actually extended by the appeal, i.e. four years from the date of the appeal denial) and there are other provisions which may even extend that date.

Forget all the insults. You have to live day to day with the very real possibility that one day in the not too distant future, there will be no USC football. What will you do with your lives???

  11. to Stanford 91, chances are that most of them are bandwagon fans, so most likely they will become Miami U fans, since the Canes have a history of playing by the same rules as USC and these sorry USC fans can really relate to that “win at all cost mentality”

  12. bruwin is the ucla degree this worthless that you can’t find a job and therefore have so much time on your hands that you spend it trolling on USC blogs?

  13. @WESTWOOD ROB: Actually Jim Davis played JR Ewing’s dad Jock on TV. Big Cowboy fans.

  14. SECTION 12 ROW 52, you’re thinking of a different Jim Davis. The Jim Davis I’m talking about is the old guy who bought the Raiders with all the money he made from creating “Garfield”.

I miss “Dallas”, though. Remember that crazy finale when J.R. got visited by the devil?

  15. Tirebiter, my degree is not from UCLA, thank you for asking. The reasons for my hanging around your USC blogs are very obvious! where else can I get this kind of entertainment for free? it’s a laugh a minute with your football team.

Lame Kiffin was the perfect hire, he will keep us Bruin fans entertained hopefully for at least a year before he manages to put your program out of business, the guy is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
