A Trend

The Seattle Times polled 29 coaches on a variety of topics.

One question: Name the college coach for whom you have the least regard.
Most coaches did not answer. But “three who did named Lane Kiffin of USC. Only three others got a single mention — Brian Kelly of Notre Dame, Nick Saban of Alabama and Mike Locksley of New Mexico.”

  1. Firsthand research from Bud Withers, the Seattle Times staff reporter. What a novel concept. Hey Wolf. You ought your hand at research sometime. Its a great way to get new information.

  2. Slow Thinker…you might want to retake that composition class. Either that…or try proofreading.
Yea…I know….you get sooooo excited when trying to dazzle us with your brilliance..but seriously, sometimes less is more.
    This could be Your YEAR!

  3. I’m guessing Laney didn’t understand the question and named himself. So the three coaches were Meyer, Saban and Kiffin.

  4. kelly and saban? that’s good company. i remember a funny quote when kiffin was asked about the difference between alabama and florida and he said alabama is better coached. i never understood kiffin’s public comments re: meyer. oh well. water under the bridge.
