  1. oh Pious Passer, you appear to be even more pious this season!! i almost get the impression, from Barks’ demeanor, that he feels self satisfacton from the fact that is capable of suffering “fools” so patiently!!

    is it just me??

  2. oh and i almost forgot: sweeeeeeeet scooops wolf!!

your coverage was stellar from pre-game to post-game!!

the Pious Passer almost broke character when you asked about the two point conversions…a flash of anger perhaps?? Heavens!

  3. So last night, I get home, there’s not much on TV, and I start flipping the channels. Pretty soon I come across that USC game. There’s nothing wrong with watching just a little, right? That’s how it starts, brothers and sisters. Lying to yourself like that.

I see Barkley throwing touchdown passes, and it starts feeling like the old times, and then BAM! Morgan put that Hawaiian fool on his back! Lights OUT! And I stayed up til midnight watching that game!

In the light of day, I am ashamed of my weakness, brothers and sisters. You think you can let the devil into your heart just a little, just for a quarter, or maybe the first half, and next thing you know it’s the fourth quarter and you and the devil are shouting at Kiffin through the TV to “Let Mustain throw!”

I’ve got to fight my bad nature, but I need help from JESUS! Pray for me, brothers and sisters!

  4. Scott, did the Daily News just pay for you to go to Hawaii so you could ask Barkley about Kiffin’s PAT strategy? UFB!
