Rose Bowl Flashback

USC experienced its only real success offensively at the end of first half. The Trojans closed out the half passing on 12 of their final 13 plays.
Lane Kiffin admitted he thought of going to his 2007 Rose Bowl game plan against Michigan, when John David Booty threw passes on 27 of 29 plays.
“Yeah, I did,” Kiffin said. “But it’s too early in the year to do that. That’s the Rose Bowl. It’s not a good world to get into.”

  1. I was gone this weekend. Just got back. What was the score of the Fucla / Stuckford game?

    Can’t stop ROFLMAO!!!!

  2. I was back in LA for that RB and managed to get a ticket. If I remember right, the first half was a slugfest and Carr sent his kickers out to warm up a bit before the 2nd half got started. But Kiffin opened up the playbook and Booty started flinging passes up and down the field. Great game.
