A: Burks is also being recruited by Boise State, Stanford and San Diego State and is undersized (6-1, 230) for a defensive end. USC will only take him if he graduates early, so they obviously don’t consider him a make-or-break recruit. But I hear he would like to attend USC . . . if he can graduate early.
Aaron Harris is JC back and another one that USC wants to try to bring in early, if possible. If he can make it academically, I suspect he will go to USC. Damian Swann will be tough to pull out of the South but I’m hearing Georgia coach Mark Richt could be gone after the season, so that might create an opening for the Atlanta native.
