Tyler’s father was former Rams tailback Wendell Tyler. Lane Kiffin said replays showed Tyler was down before he fumbled.
But that did not entirely get Tyler off the hook.
“We still tell them there shouldn’t be a doubt,” Kiffin said.

And UCLA’s fifth all-time rusher playing from 1973-1976. I don’t recall him dropping the ball too much. I do recall him helping to knock Ohio State off their #1 perch in the 1976 Rose Bowl.
I suppose Wendell has to root for SC while his son is playing. That’s fine by me.
