  1. And Coach Sunshine said something positive after the win! Yet still balanced with a lot of work to do. Stanford looks really tough. We will need a perfect warmup against Washington to be ready for them.

  2. What a joke that Wolf ranked Texas #1. It shows his football knowledge. I know you can’t compare week to week, but how good is Stanford? I can’t wait to see the Stanford/Oregon game.

  3. Smell it, taste it, lick it, suck it, and stick it!!! what happened??? you lame ass shit talkers!!! 75-7 Texas??? come on girls, begin with your excues…I told you lame asses that once UCLA would beat Texas first thing you would do is say “Texas was over rated” LMAO…..0-4??? don’t think so!!

@scscin5, where are you? since you beat Hawaii you said USC would leap frog TCU and take the #3 spot, instead USC has slipped 6 spots…

@NOBS, I told you UCLA would upset Texas, I hope you’re a man of your word and stay off the blog until the week of the UCLA USC game.

@everyone else, NOW will you give UCLA “some” respect? or are you still in denial?

  4. Wasn’t sure which blowout Wolfie wanted to talk about-the one in Pullman or the one in Austin!
But as Trojan Conquest states, next two weeks should be very interesting, with Stanford heading for Eugene, then coming home to play USC, back to back.
Stanford really played well again today, but those Bruins, not the bRuins this week, maybe there could be something there.
But one thing’s for sure, Alabama will be rated #1 this coming week and Texas will not be in the top 10.
Now if only Oregon State can defeat Boise State tonight!

  5. @BruinRob: Good win. Thought it’d be close, but thought Texas would pull it out.
Unfortunately, you’re still 2-2 my man. SC is 4-0.
Think that win is enough to make it through the Pac-10 against GOOD offenses?

    FIGHT ON!!!!!

    Really??? LMAO

  7. Not that Texas ISN’T a good team.. obviously that’s a good program. But UCLA still has to face offenses that DON’T have a new QB. Arizona, Oregon, Stanford (already happened), Washington… all experienced QBs and better offenses. Good luck UCLA, cuz you don’t play SC til December. Your momentum just miiiight run out.

    FIGHT ON!

  8. @BruinRob: Stop running your mouth and respond to me and sonicboom926. Is that passing game and defense gonna work against Pac-10 teams?

  9. Congratulations to the Bruins. They wiped out Texas. The Longhorns are overrated. Anytime a ranked team gets blown out by an unranked team, they are by any definition overrated. In this case, the Longhorns just got their asses kicked.

  10. @sonicboom26 and moron…the answer is yes…if the defense plays like they’ve played the last two games and force turnovers…yes they can still win with 26 yards passing. Let me ask YOU a question, do you really think UCLA is going to average 26 yards passing per game the rest of the season? puhleeeze, even you guys as hater of UCLA know better than that.

  11. What the hell are Bruin supporters chiming in about the USC game? This has to do with our game not theirs.

  12. So SC covered the spread. Nick Robey got burned once, but then he got two picks, now he found his swagger. Now only if Shareece can find his swagger. So what if the Bruins beat an overrate Texas with no run game and a weak QB. Boise state will roll and SC can look forward to punking Sark next week then a beat up Stanford. I smell 13 and oooohhhh

  13. @Rich K, shut up.
@monopoly, you were’t saying they were over rated yesterday. It’s okay I don’t expect you to give UCLA any credit.

RuinedSlob – Post a link on the SC blog and the Trojans are at your door. Better run along now, Texas is waiting to eat you up and spit you out.

IS THAT SO??? LMAO TASTE IT!!!!

  15. @BruinRob:
Are you seriously putting that comment onto every post Wolf puts up? Obviously Free_Thinker was wrong, and he doesn’t speak for all USC fans.
Although I thought Texas would win, I also thought UCLA would be competitive.
They impressed, but have work to do before playing more Pac-10 teams.
Stop being so cocky. You’re not ready for teams like Oregon and Arizona.

  16. oh so sugary sweeeeeeeet!!! Bruins whip their second ranked team in a row!!!

we own Texas on their own field, last two games combined score of 100-15!!!

of course trOJies couldn’t beat the big bad Longhorns when is counted 🙁

now that the Pistol is fully calibrated and sighted in, we are ready for the season to begin!!!

but this is the SOuthern Cal blog…nice game against Wazzu, boys!

  17. Hey Count – when was the last time the bRuins played in a game that counted for anything other than a Poulaner Weedeater Bowl birth? You can’t seriously compare the Texas team you faced today to the VY team that beat USC in the NC game. You all are delusional after one win. I don’t remember seeing any trolls here after KSU and Stanford. And I’ll be willing to bet there weren’t any USC fans on the Gold blog or whatever it’s called.

  18. @”Count” Smackula:
    ….Bahahahahahahahaha

    ’05 Longhorns: Vince Young
    ’10 Longhorns: Garrett Gilbert

    Good try though lol

  19. i see the Cadre is in fine form tonight!!

lbc: well lets take note that our own intrepid wolfman has Texas ranked el numero uno, senyour!!!

i believe when VY & Tex smoked the trOJies in ’05 they were only ranked #2!!

BruinRob, keep on gloating, brother!! how can it be wrong, when it feels SO right!!!

  20. @Charlie Bucket:

    1. Wolf rankings? Hahahahahaha, right.

    2. They were ranked #2 playing in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. This is week 4 of the season, lol. Clearly they were ranked a bit too high.

Obviously you’re extremely high on this win. And you should be. Great win.

But things might be very different by December. See you then!

    Fight on!

  21. we’ll be there, lbc…as i’ve stated a number of times, i never wanted Southern Cal gutted by any sanctions, and fortunately the effects of same have not impacted SC much thus far, so it’s looking like we will have a hum dinger of a game this year, and that will be oh so sugar sweeeeet!!!

  22. USC and UCLA will likely both struggle against Oregon, Stanford, and probably Arizona. But other than that, LA is up for grabs this year. Can’t wait for December 4th.
    Fight on!

oh you mean like Southern Cal against OR St…or Stanford, the greatest upset in recorded college football history???

    (tee-hee)

  25. Bucket-of-Sh**

For once you are correct, when SC lost to an unranked team it meant we were overrated. The demotion showed in changes the subsequent week.

With the exception of last year, SC has been good enough to finish in the top 10 for almost a decade.

You are still an idiot, who usually adds little to this blog. How does it feel to be a moron?

ChuckerBucker guarantees victory tonight at Pauley South(Gaylen). oh so sugar sweeeet to own two home courts in the same city!

  27. BruinB00b-That wasn’t the bet. The bet was I will go away forever if we lose to Fucla and WestB00b’s gone if Texas wins by 28. Of course, I don’t expect much of your comprehension.

  28. @KNOBBED, not true, but it’s okay – I didn’t expect you to keep your word.

I said we would shock Texas and you laughed and said “if UCLA loses by less than 21 to Texas I will leave this blog until December 4th.

  29. @KNOBBED, something strange is going on here uhmmmm, I went back to every blog this week to find our bet, and guess what? it seems it was deleted…sounds to me like you have an inside source, and conveniently the bet is nowhere to be found…fishy, if you ask me.

  30. The difference between SC fans and UCLA trolls is that we can act like we’ve been there… because we have…every year for the past decade.

Getting in a froth over two victories shows how desperate these people have become.

Not to mention that by the end of the season, the euphoria of early wins against ranked teams may evaporate if those teams turn out to be impostors.

Already out of the top 25, the vaunted Houston Cougars escaped with a win against the mighty Tulane Green Wave this week.

Let’s wait till the end of the season before we crow about how good we are.

In the meantime, SC fans will enjoy 4-0 and look for continued improvements. We face some tough competition as the meat of the season draws near.

    Fight on!

  31. The bet was not deleted — just moved to the archives.

@KNOBS yes, the QB got injured, but the score was 21-3 already. USC hasn’t faced anybody the likes of any of our opponents so far…if we beat Texas, will you guys finally stop your yapping? or will you say that Texas was overated?

@BruinRob: If UCLA beats Texas, I won’t say anything period until December 4th. But to say K-State and Houston are powerhouses that USC wouldn’t be able to beat is ridiculous. I’ll give the bruins credit when they beat a good team. Houston wasn’t one. We’ll see next saturday.

  32. @NOBS, LMAO I knew you couldn’t do it!! welcome back NOBS…LMAO

@WESTWOODROB, thanks for digging the thread from the archives, I could have sworn we made the bet on Monday or Tuesday.

  33. NOBS, don’t listen to BruinRob — I’m glad you didn’t honor your bet. You’re my best friend on this blog! I wouldn’t want you to disappear!

It’s funny, though; if you had accepted my proposed bet for the SUC/UCLA game, and if UCLA had lost, I really would have disappeared from this blog forever. I bet I could have persuaded a few members of the Secret Cadre to come with me, too. Now I guess we’ll never know.
